Many people yearn for visiting Tibet. Lhasa is the hottest place which fans of tourism want to go most.

Lhasa, which means “Land of the Gods”, is the heart of Tibet. Over 1,300 years old, it sits in a valley right next to the Lhasa River. It is located at 3650 meters (12 000 feet) above sea level on the northern slopes of the Himalayas.

People love Lhasa because of its night. When the nightfall approaches, people, who you usually barely meet in the day, all come to the street.

I find that the night of Potala is really lively. Tourists hang around the streets and square. They drink and chat. Artists play nice music and songs. It makes me feel less holy religion atmosphere, but more sense of leisure life.
